Millar Management has provided project management services for a wide range of projects, and has particular experience with the project management of Airport Sector works, predominantly at Heathrow Airport.
MM have provided the project management role on Heathrow projects since 1995, and over this time have gained valuable experience in the operation of the airport, and how to get projects delivered within a robust governance framework.
The key process MM adopt is the Project Management Plan. This document will be a living document and through regular review with stakeholders will give a common understanding of the project objectives, risks, efficiencies.
The purpose of the document is to
- Ensure lessons learned are considered during each stage.
- Define the “how”, “what”, “when”, and by “whom” the project will be executed.
- Identify the project objectives, goals, risks, interfaces, plans, procedures processes and strategy to be followed during execution with particular focus on the stage the project is currently in.
The Project Manager will be responsible for the development of the PMP. Input is derived from the project team and other contributors as required.
